Lewis is a researcher at the Institute for Government with a focus on Brexit and government's use of data and technology. He is its resident expert on data adequacy and has written reports about the UK's preparations for exiting the EU, its approach to the negotiations and, most recently, how government could make better use of data and technology to improve policy making. His research has been featured on the BBC and in a range of national newspapers, including the FT, the Times and the Guardian.
