Privacy at the Margins: Data Protection Issues for Vulnerable Groups

In this session, Scott Skinner Thompson, author of the new book ‘Privacy at the Margins’, will highlight how different marginalized groups are uniquely harmed by privacy violations and will explain the legal relationship between private-party surveillance and government surveillance. In addition, Scott offers suggestions as to why industry and government should give particular solicitude to the privacy of vulnerable groups.
